Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.

How can I help?

  • Perhaps you and your partner find yourselves in constant conflict, or are in need of improving intimacy or communication. Couples counseling can also help those who are looking to move onto the next stage, whether it be engagement, marriage, or separation.

    • Weekly 50- or 60-min sessions

    • Help with issues such as:

      • cultural or family-of-origin differences

      • conflict resolution, coparenting

      • premarital counseling

      • improving communication skills

      • trust issues, infidelity

      • improving emotional and/or physical intimacy

  • Are you finding typical day-to-day tasks difficult? Are your regular coping skills no longer effective? Do you find yourself weighted down with big questions, like “what am I doing?” or “who am I”? I can be there to guide and be beside you as you work things out.

    • Weekly 50-min sessions

    • Work through issues such as:

      • anxiety & depression

      • identity or cultural issues

      • relationship difficulties, family dysfunction

      • life stressors, challenges, and transitions

    • I am sex positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, gender identity affirming, kink affirming.

  • Children express themselves however they can to get their needs met. Sometimes this can look like frustrating or even inappropriate behaviors. Play therapy, or talk therapy if the child is developmentally ready, can allow children to process difficult emotions and express themselves in healthier ways.

I pair child sessions with parent consultations and whole-family work to respond to difficult dynamics in a holistic manner.

    • Weekly sessions start at 45 min and depending on the child, may increase to 50 min

    • Monthly parent consultations, or as often as fits the needs of the family; 50-60 min

      • Work through and practice how to better respond to your child’s anxiety, anger, sadness, or difficult behaviors

      • Help with crisis or challenges (such as divorce), improve communication and reduce stress

      • Reconcile differing parenting styles or conflicts between parents
